Upcoming Tata News India has finally revealed for pre-booking and is set to be launched in January 2020
After long waits and teaser videos on official social media channels, Tata Motors has finally disclosed the Nexon EV. It is an all-electric subcompact SUV based on the outgoing Tata Nexon. As per reports and sources, the Nexon EV will deliver a range of over 300 kilometres on a single charge.
Will be available in 3 variants and 3 colour options, the Nexon EV is available for pre-bookings now for an amount of Rs 21,000. Though the car is going to be launched in January 2020. Speaking on the upcoming TATA car news India, the new Nexon EV is going to be priced at Rs 15 lakh.
This car is the first in Tata Motors’ range to showcase the proprietary Ziptron EV powertrain. The first look was revealed in September, Ziptron made its way to future Tata EVs like the electric version of the upcoming Altroz hatchback.
This upcoming new model is well formulated with 30.2kWh lithium-ion battery. Tata further states that it is good for up to 300 km on a single charge. It will be able to regain 80 percent of its full charge within an hour when the car will be plugged into a Fast DC charger. It will be further charged with a 15 amp domestic power socket.
Along with the same, this model can be controlled remotely with the use of the owner’s Android/iOS smartphone with the proprietary ZConnect app. It provides further support to the owner locate nearby charging stations, set speed alerts, track the vehicle, etc.
