With lockdown Extention and COVID-19 pandemic, Skoda Auto India is kickstarting with the productive specification for the market. On 26th May, Skoda is commencing will the new launch of all-new Karoq, 2020 Superb and BS6 Rapid. As per the latest car news India, Karoq and BS6 Rapid all supposedly meant to meet the market last month but the lockdown caused much of the delay.
With the lockdown still in effect till 31st May, all three Skoda models will be introduced in the market through virtual conference making up for a digital event. Both the upcoming models are open for booking since March. 2020 Superb open for availability for pre-orders from April and booking of a token amount of Rs 50,000.
Director of Skoda Auto India officially took to twitter announcing about the launch of the all three vehicles right on a digital platform. The three vehicles already were unveiled in India right at the Auto Expo 2020.
The Karoq is featuring a great addition to the brand. Small Kodiaq and the other two SUVs share commonality to the exterior and interior design. Mainly Karoq has got the speciality of widescreen touchscreen infotainment system with Smartlink connectivity interface, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, 9 airbags, electrically adjustable driver seat and so much more.
The new Skoda Rapid 1.0 TSI features BS6 turbo-petrol engine. The company has been updating the features and functionality of the Rapid with a new engine. The petrol engine us 1.6 litres while the turbocharged diesel engine is 1.5 litre. The turbocharged three-cycling petrol unit features 1.0 litre. The engine has got a maximum power of 110 PS and 175 Nm of torque.

Speaking of the new version of the model, the Indian market will see the two premium variants – Sportline trim and the luxurious Laurin and Klement. The former has colour variants of Moon White, Steel Grey and Race Blue; while the latter has Laval Blue, Business Grey, Moon White, Magnetic Brown and Magic Black.
