Mahindra XUV300 is the only Indian-based car that gained complete 5-star rating in the safety and protection testing.
In the Global NMew Car Assessment Program (GNCAP), Mahindra XUV300 became the 3rd Indian Car to get a 5-star rating for adult occupant protection. It fetched 5 stars for child occupant protection. As per the latest Mahindra car news India, XUV300 became the first model of the brand to gain a 5-star safety rating in the test.
The reason that Mahindra gains 3rd position is that the car somewhere lacked in the 3-point belt. The ISOFIX mountings have got a cheque in the XUV300’s armor. Though the score that Mahindra has got out of 17 is quite close. The score is higher in terms of other rivals like the Tata Nexon and Altroz.
Ssangyong Tivoli sub-4m SUV is tested by Euro NCAP in 2018. This has got the same feel right in Mahindra XUV300. Euro NCAP presents with a top-most number of tests than Global NCAP. It includes side pole impact test, front full-width rigid barrier test, and autonomous braking and driver assistance systems tests.

Being the 2nd India manufacturer, Mahindra is the only car to gain the highest India-based combined crash test result to date. President of Global NCAP states that the campaign has been a success, especially for the Indian customers. It becomes a win-win situation for both sides and gives a profitable approach.
