It is now known to all that Elon Musk does thing differently. And this time, he did disclose the same with Tesla Cybertruck. Known to be one of his favourite projects at Tesla, it is a full-blown electric truck with off-road capability. It has a capacity of 6 seatings with a maximum range of 800 km featuring an interesting design.
There are going to be 3 versions of the truck which are a single motor rear-wheel-drive model coming with a range of about 400 km. It will have a towing capacity of 3400 kg and a 0-100 kmph sprint time of just over 6.5 seconds.
Priced at $39,900, the next model will feature a dual electric motor. It will be formulated with an all-wheel-drive having a range of 482 km, a towing capacity of over 4,500 kg and a 0-100 kmph time of about 4.5 seconds. It will be priced at $49,900.

Speaking of the design, this is quite stunning. You will find no round surfaces on the Cybertruck. The overall design is sharp and chiselled. It looks like a pickup truck from a distance. Featured with a band of LED light, a pointed roof and angular wheel arches, the design is just so different from others.
Inside you will be able to find space for 6 occupants and very minimalist design. There is again 17-inch touchscreen tablet allowing access to all in-car functions. The cargo bay has a length of 6.5 feet and a storage space of nearly 100 cubic feet.
The ground clearance is a massive of 406 mm with an adaptive air suspension everywhere. It gets an approach and departure angle of 35 degrees and 28 degrees respectively.
Tesla says that the body of the Cybertruck is made of ultra-hard cold-rolled stainless steel and is said to be able to withstand shots from small firearms and even a sledgehammer.
The series production of the Tesla Cybertruck will begin only in late 2021 with deliveries beginning in early 2022.
